# Report & Delivery Settings

> Configure report delivery preferences and authorization language for sharing inspection reports.

Report & Delivery Settings lets you configure how completed inspection reports are delivered to clients and the authorization language used in your inspection agreements.

## Access Report & Delivery Settings

1. Select **Settings** from the main navigation.
2. Choose **Business Settings**.
3. Select **Report & Delivery Settings** from the left-hand menu.

You'll see two sections: **Report Delivery** and **Third-Party Sharing Authorization**.

## Report Delivery

This section contains your report delivery preferences and the authorization wording associated with report delivery.

### Delivery Method

The **Delivery Method** field displays how completed inspection reports are delivered to clients.

In the current configuration, the delivery method is **Email**.

### Delivery Authorization Language

The **Delivery Authorization Language** field contains the wording used to authorize delivery of the inspection report.

Review this language to ensure it reflects your company's report delivery practices and client agreement requirements.

## Third-Party Sharing Authorization

This section contains the authorization language used when inspection reports may be shared with third parties, such as real estate agents or legal representatives.

The wording configured here is connected to the agreement placeholder:

\`{{third_party_authorization}}\`

When this placeholder is included in an agreement template, it uses the authorization wording configured in this section.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Review your third-party sharing authorization language carefully. It should accurately describe when, how, and with whom inspection reports may be shared.

## Before Delivering Reports

We recommend reviewing:

* Your report delivery method.
* The authorization language associated with report delivery.
* Your third-party sharing authorization wording.
* Whether your agreement template includes the appropriate authorization placeholder.

> [!TIP]
>
> Review these settings alongside **Templates & Agreements** to ensure your agreement wording and report delivery practices are consistent.
