My Profile lets you manage your personal information, profile photo, and inspection role within InspectIQ. These settings are specific to your account and are separate from your company’s Business Settings.

Access My Profile

  1. Select Settings from the main navigation.
  2. Choose My Settings.
  3. Select My Profile from the left-hand menu.

Profile Photo

Your profile photo identifies you within InspectIQ and may be visible to your Team Owner and administrators.

Add or Change Your Photo

  1. Locate the Profile Photo section.
  2. Select Change Photo.
  3. Choose an image from your device.
InspectIQ supports PNG and JPG images and resizes them to 512 pixels before uploading. For best results, use a square image, approximately 400 × 400 pixels. To delete your existing photo, select Remove Photo.

Personal Information

Keep your personal contact information accurate and up to date. Update the applicable fields when your information changes. InspectIQ displays a saved confirmation beneath your personal information when changes have been saved.
Your personal information is associated with your individual account. Company-wide contact details are managed separately under Business Settings.

Account Details

The Account Details section displays your account type and role within InspectIQ. For example, a business owner managing multiple inspectors may have the Team Owner account type. Your account type determines which business management features are available to you.

Inspection Role

Team Owners can choose whether they personally perform inspections. The I perform inspections toggle controls whether the Team Owner also participates as an inspector.

Enable Your Inspection Role

  1. Scroll to Inspection Role.
  2. Turn ON I perform inspections.
When enabled:
  • You can inspect your own Work Orders.
  • You count toward your subscription’s available team seats.

Disable Your Inspection Role

If you manage your inspection business but don’t personally perform inspections, you can turn OFF I perform inspections. Disabling this option frees up your inspector seat for another team member.
You cannot turn off your inspection role while you have inspections in progress. Complete any in-progress work before attempting to free your seat.
If you primarily manage your inspection business and have other inspectors conducting inspections, disabling your inspection role can help make better use of your available team seats.

Review Your Profile

Before conducting your first inspection, confirm that:
  • Your full name is accurate.
  • Your phone number and email address are current.
  • Your profile photo is up to date.
  • Your inspection role is enabled if you personally conduct inspections.
You can return to My Profile whenever your personal information or responsibilities change.
